Description
Whitby harbour, North Yorkshire. West Cliff and Whitby harbor seen from across the waters of the famous fishing port at low tide. Docks and wharves offer protected docking for pleasure yachts and fishing boats. The economy of the seaside town in North Yorkshire on England's North Sea is mainly tourism but there are still thriving fisheries. Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula, was set in this old town at the mouth of the River Esk.
