An old stone gargoyle carved on the wall of the historic Parish Church of St Mary, Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire. The historic Tudor castle and chapel in the grounds are associated with Catherine Parr, the sixth wife of Henry VIII, who retired to the Cotswolds after she was widowed and married Thomas Seymour.

Louise's interests have always been concentrated on travel and the arts, in spite of her first career being spent entirely in the world of science.
