Description
Ninilchik, a moose grazes in the village in late winter. The Alaska native village of Aleut, Sugpiaq and Alutiiq also has descendents of Russian settlers and a pretty Russian Orthodox church on the hill above the town. In winter the town is a quiet place to visit off the Sterling Highway.
